Do I need prior AI experience to participate?
Not required. The program starts from the problem and advances from there, with guided labs for beginners and deeper paths for those who already use AI.
Is the program only for people who work in government?
HIC Government is designed for the public sector: managers, civil servants, and teams from agencies and institutions. Professionals who work with the public sector can also benefit.
How does the real-problem project work?
You bring a real problem from your institution and it becomes the integrating project: the 8 weeks advance the same problem, from framing and baseline to the final artifact and 30-60-90 roadmap.
Can I use sensitive data from my institution?
No. Sensitive data must be sanitized or replaced with synthetic data. Labs are designed to work with sanitized data and simulate real scenarios without exposing protected information.
Does the program include certification?
Certification requirements follow the HIC program standard and will be confirmed before the cohort starts, along with approval criteria.
Do I need a team or can I do it individually?
You can participate individually or with a team from your institution. The team format enhances the integrating project and the implementation roadmap.
What is the duration and workload?
8 weeks, with 24 hours of live sessions, plus guided labs and specialist mentorship throughout the project.
Is HIC Government the same as the Government Relations course?
No. They are distinct Public Sector offers. HIC Government is an applied AI program for real government problems; the Government Relations course has its own focus and scope.
